We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Respiratory Services department.
In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Respiratory Therapist practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as outlined by the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and within a client and family-centered care model. Performs ongoing respiratory care in a multi-disciplinary setting for clients with various illnesses/diseases, including but not limited to acute and/or chronic cardio-respiratory conditions, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Enhances quality of life from the perspective of the client and family. Consults, confers, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals. Demonstrates continuous improvement and adopts best practices in respiratory care. Maintains and advances own clinical competence. Participates in committees, teams, and approved research projects as assigned.
Shift Rotation/Hours of Work: Days, Evenings, Nights - 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00, Rotating
Ksyen Regional Hospital
The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. The facility features 82 beds, private rooms, and is a center for trauma services, orthopedic surgeries, pathology, radiology, clinical support, and pharmacy services. It also serves as a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program.
Terrace
The thriving community of Terrace offers northern living at its best, with snow-capped mountains, pristine glacier-fed rivers, lakes, and streams. The main industries are communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700. The community has nine elementary schools, four secondary schools, and institutions like Northwest Community College and a UNBC campus. Terrace is a place where there is always something new to experience.
