Prairie Mountain Health in Brandon, MB is hiring Respiratory Therapists (RTs) for full-time and part-time roles. The starting wage is 48.31 CAD per hour.

RTs work with physicians, nurses and other professionals to care for patients across settings, focusing on airway management and oxygen therapy. Required licensure in Manitoba, ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, strong leadership, communication, and the ability to prioritize, organize and exercise independent judgment in a diverse clinical

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapists (RTs) are essential members of the healthcare team, working alongside physicians, nurses, and other professionals to care for patients across all healthcare settings. As experts in airway management and oxygen therapy, RTs assess patients and manage life‑saving equipment. They monitor patients closely, adjust therapy as needed, and use strong clinical judgement and teamwork to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist in the Province of Manitoba
• Certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life support or Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Must have an extensive knowledge of each area of the department, both in procedures and techniques in order to operate area, assist in area, and analyze technical procedures and problems in each area
• Must have special ability and knowledge in Quality Control and Standards of Respiratory Care, exhibited qualities of leadership, teaching and self-improvement; Must be able to provide input and planning in a clinical setting
• Demonstrated leadership
