Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada in Windsor, ON is seeking a Clinical Respiratory Consultant to provide comprehensive respiratory assessments, CPAP/Bilevel therapy management, and patient education in the home setting.

The role partners with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans, perform sleep diagnostic testing per AASM guidelines, and ensure safe, high-quality care. A strong clinical background and licensure are required, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• RRT/RN/RPN/CCSH/RPSGT certification required.
• Licensed to practice in the province.
• Strong cardio-respiratory assessment and CPAP knowledge required.
• Valid driver’s license and clear vulnerable persons check.
• Fluent in English; French helpful if required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform full respiratory assessments and determine treatment plans with physicians and care teams.
• Initiate and manage CPAP/Bilevel therapy; educate patients on equipment use and maintenance.
• Set up sleep diagnostic testing per AASM guidelines and ensure accuracy of results.
• Provide regular follow-up to assess treatment effects, comfort, and adherence; adjust as needed.
• Maintain documentation, confidentiality, and safety protocols; participate in quality improvement activities.
