Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada seeks a Clinical Respiratory Consultant to deliver sleep diagnostics and respiratory therapy in Medicine Hat, collaborating with physicians and funding agencies to provide high-quality care.

The role includes educating patients on PAP therapy, arranging equipment setup, and following safety and documentation protocols while contributing to continuous service improvement and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• RN/RPN/LPN with provincial license and relevant sleep therapy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep diagnostic testing setup and equipment installation following AASM guidelines.
• Evaluate client therapies and determine respiratory treatment plans with physicians.
• Initiate PAP therapy and educate patients on use, cleaning and maintenance.
• Provide ongoing follow-up to assess therapy effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Promote related products and address client needs.
• Maintain up-to-date continuing education for current therapies and devices.
• Ensure client safety and compliance with company protocols for equipment cleaning and disinfection.
• Complete administration tasks and document all processes per policy.
