Job summary

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada in Ottawa is seeking a Clinical Respiratory Consultant to deliver oxygen therapy and respiratory support, working closely with physicians and care teams. The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and education of clients and referral sources.

The incumbent will promote products, manage equipment delivery, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations, while maintaining knowledge of funding processes and best practices within a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body
• Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Clear vulnerable persons check
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to participate in a rotational after-hours on-call schedule
• Previous healthcare experience is an asset
• Fluent in written and spoken English (or French if required)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android

Responsibilities

• Provide oxygen therapy and clinical/ventilatory support to clients
• Collaborate with referring physicians and funding agencies to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Deliver full respiratory assessments, interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
• Perform equipment delivery, maintenance, and safety checks
• Grow the business by promoting Air Liquide products and services to clients
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and patient confidentiality
• Adhere to funding processes and infection control policies
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and educate prospective clients
