A leading company is seeking a Resourcing and Deployment Senior Manager to oversee resource management and optimize employee deployment. Meaningful work you’ll be apart of
As a Resourcing and Deployment Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with the National Resource Management Leader, in collaboration with local Resource Management Teams, Assurance HC Teams, and Assurance Practice Leaders; supporting the execution of the current Assurance Business Strategy as it relates to Deployment Management
Maximizing the utilization of resources by understanding national capacity and availability. Facilitating cross-site resource management by considering individual skill sets and career development alongside client assignment needs
Leading the East Assurance Canada RM team, providing business coaching and performance management. Accountable for the development and coaching of Resource Managers in using financial reporting tools inclusive of; workforce planning, executive summaries, availability and capacity reports, workload management reports, etc
Leading operational activities including resourcing complex, high profile/priority clients and/or escalated needs and coaching local RM teams on the implementation of RM best practices
Supporting the Assurance practice in implementation of key business transformation initiatives including use of flexible talent, centers of excellence and service delivery centers
Building and sustaining relationships with National and East Assurance Leaders, HC leadership, and local Assurance partners, to influence and drive the firm’s strategic objectives related to manage our resources effectively
Continuously look for innovative technology solutions to improve data reporting (storytelling with data) that enables better decision making for both the business and the RM team
Developing and initiating RM strategies relating to headcount, mobility and talent management
Supportingany business transformation initiatives relating to Assurance Resource Management and the implementation of related technologies and tools (e.g. TalentLink and Workforce Planning Tools), whileprovidingoversightinto RM processes and procedures and initiatingrecommendations for process standardization and improvements as necessary
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset
Proven ability to support and execute business strategies related to Resource Management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while delivering exceptional client service and achieving business results
In-depth knowledge of Resource Management with a successful history of developing staffing strategies to optimize resource utilization, understand national capacity and facilitate resource sharing across various sites and services
Experience in leading, managing, and inspiring teams, with a focus on fostering diversity and ensuring diverse perspectives are integrated into team dynamics
Strong oral and written communication skills, withdemonstratedexperience in building robustrelationshipsis essential. Must have a proventrack record in negotiation, influence, and effective consultation, especiallywith leadership; and the ability to confidentlyinteractwith all levels of staff whilemaintainingconfidentiality
Competence in managing complex projects strategically and creatively, with experience in handling operations for high-profile clients and applying Resource Management best practices effectively
Adaptability to perform effectively under pressure, maintaining professionalism and integrity in a matrix organization. Proven self-starter with strong personal motivation and agility, capable of multitasking, setting priorities, and consistently meeting deadlines
Active participation in business transformation initiatives, including flexible talent models and service centers, with a track record of gaining support for new business initiatives
Ability to oversee Resource Management processes, drive process improvements, and implement national standards, using excellent judgment and problem-solving skills to assess business impacts
Experience in adopting innovative technology solutions to improve data reporting and decision-making, with skills in handling complex data and providing insightful analysis through story-telling
