This is a one-year temporary position.
We are seeking a Resource Specialist to join our team at the new Radio-Canada newsroom in Alberta. In this role, you will plan and organize the technical resources required for content production, ensuring full alignment with programming schedules and operational requirements. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively. You will forecast, select, organize and assign the personnel, facilities and equipment needed to produce programs or program segments. This includes managing logistical planning across pre-production, production and post-production phases while meeting cross-platform formatting and delivery requirements. Although general direction will be provided, this role requires strong independent judgment and initiative. You will juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment, delivering under tight deadlines across digital, radio and television. As a key player in all live and taped broadcasts, you will rely on tact and diplomacy to reconcile stakeholder demands.
This role requires full-time on-site presence.
