The Workforce Optimization (Resource Management) team is an integral part of KPMG’s National Audit Operations Team, deploying programs focused on centralization, standardization, and automation to support audit engagement teams in performing effective and efficient audits. Workforce Optimization aims to standardize and optimize resources for our firm, our audit clients, and our people.

The Workforce Optimization Technology Manager plays a lead role supporting business application tools related to managing resources, accreditation, Audit Quality Controls, capacity management, and key metrics. This role involves close collaboration with IT professionals, the Department of Professional Practice, end-users, and provides expert-level support to ensure optimal utilization of all Workforce Management tools. It requires a mix of technical acumen and team leadership skills to drive new and current tools, along with creativity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

What You Will Do
  • Build reports integrating tools required for Workforce Optimization (eQualify, GLMS, Retain, CEAC)
  • Coordinate and develop User Acceptance Testing for enhancements to current or new Audit Workforce Tools
  • Act as the primary liaison between end-users, IT support, Learning, the Department of Professional Practice, other member firms, and project teams
  • Analyze and recommend changes to current business processes and data flows
  • Recommend procedural and report documentation improvements while ensuring control compliance
  • Participate in new system implementations, working with project teams to analyze data and recommend solutions
  • Maintain Audit Workforce Tools, review statements of work and SLAs, log issues, and follow up on outcomes
  • Identify pain points, improve processes and documentation within the team
  • Provide first-level support for all Audit Workforce Tools, escalating when necessary
  • Manage application administration tasks such as access control, permissions, reporting, and analytics
  • Provide feedback and prioritize enhancement requests to the IT department
  • Solve complex technical problems and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with the RPA team for process development and enhancements
  • Build strong relationships and communicate proactively across the organization
  • Assist with report development and execution using PowerBI
What You Bring To The Role

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The expected base salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses. Salary within this range depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
