The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport’s mission is to enhance economic growth and support quality of life by managing the provincial parks system and providing recreation, sport, heritage, and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and flexible team player for the position of Resource Maintenance Supervisor within Cypress Hills Provincial Park of Saskatchewan Parks Service. Reporting to the Park Manager, this role is vital to the Park Management team and involves:
The successful candidate will prioritize and assign work, inspect standards, and oversee contractors. Responsibilities also include seasonal infrastructure start-up and shutdown, and operating various park facilities and equipment such as water/sewer systems, power tools, heavy machinery, playgrounds, and trail grooming equipment. Knowledge of risk management, Occupational Health and Safety Standards (OH&S), WHMIS, and TDG is essential for safety. Strong communication skills are required to instruct staff, contractors, and the public.
