Job summary

RMSI-JTAC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for a full-time seasonal role at a high-volume resort in Alberta. The successful candidate will assist in organizing and maintaining food and beverage products, receive shipments, ensure correct FIFO storage, and support accurate order fulfillment across departments in varying climates.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and operational efficiency with predominantly indoor work and occasional outdoor exposure in mountain conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or inventory management experience.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs, and pushing carts.
• Comfortable using computers and various software systems.
• Knowledge of procurement software and invoicing processes considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read, interpret, and complete orders.

Responsibilities

• Follow Alberta safe food handling guidelines while maintaining a clean and safe workspace, including daily temperature log recordkeeping.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store all food and beverage products in fridges, freezers, and storage areas, ensuring correct FIFO rotation.
• Unload delivery trucks and assist with receiving shipments as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform daily and weekly stock spot checks.
• Participate in full inventory counts as scheduled.
• Maintain cleanliness of all storage and receiving areas on a daily basis.
• Ensure safe handling practices when moving, lifting, and organizing stock.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
• Support smooth resort operations through accurate and timely order fulfillment and distribution.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
