Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Senior Resilience Architect in Toronto to support its Cyber Resilience and Data Protection program. This hands-on role requires deep experience with Rubrik solutions on AWS and a strong understanding of resilience architecture and cloud security. The architect will work embedded in delivery teams, leading deployment strategies across multiple regions including Canada and the U.S. The position is contract-based and aimed at independent consultants.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing Rubrik Cyber Data Protection solutions on AWS.
• Proven resilience architecture experience in backup and recovery projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments (financial services preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively within client-led delivery teams.
• Independent consultant role; contract basis with a client of Kyndryl.

• Lead resilience and data protection architecture for Rubrik deployments on AWS.
• Review Rubrik PoC outcomes and validate solution design and deployment models.
• Align Rubrik implementation with cyber resilience strategy and regulatory requirements.

Role Overview

Senior Resilience Architect to support its Cyber Resilience and Data Protection program, with a strong focus on Rubrik solution architecture and implementation on AWS. This role will work embedded within the delivery teams and will focus on designing, validating, and governing the Rubrik deployment across multiple geographies (Canada, U.S., Asia).

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on enabling and remediating resilience capabilities—not audit or advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead resilience and data protection architecture for Rubrik deployments on AWS
• Review Rubrik PoC outcomes and validate solution design and deployment models
• Confirm architectural decisions across multi-region AWS environments
• Align Rubrik implementation with cyber resilience strategy and regulatory requirements
• Define backup, retention, replication, and recovery policies
• Support workload onboarding strategy and prioritization
• Collaborate with the infrastructure, security, and application teams
• Contribute to governance, runbooks, and recovery playbooks
