Position

Within the Firm Capital Organization, Firm Capital Property Management Corp. manages a portfolio of multi-residential and commercial properties across Canada, including retail, industrial, and office spaces. We are seeking a Residential Property Manager.

What you need to succeed

• 2-5 years experience in Residential Property Management
• A combination of a Bachelor’s degree, Property Management certification, and experience in real estate
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under time constraints
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize, develop plans, and meet deadlines
• Experience managing multiple operational and financial matters daily
• Proven experience managing a multi-site portfolio
• Entrepreneurial mindset and results-oriented approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus
• Ability to analyze tenant needs and lease agreements
• Ability to interpret property financial statements
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Yardi Voyager preferred

• Conduct weekly site inspections, oversee maintenance, and monitor performance
• Obtain quotes and negotiate contracts for renovations
• Oversee capital projects and prepare operational budgets
• Implement cost control and revenue enhancement strategies
• Manage marketing and leasing efforts
• Conduct staff evaluations and performance reviews
• Analyze accounts receivable and collect overdue payments
• Perform additional duties as assigned
