Job summary

Anthem Properties in Canada seeks an experienced Architectural Technologist to maintain model lines and production files, assist with new home designs, and ensure compliance with Anthem Guidelines and local bylaws for Calgary/Edmonton regions.

You will collaborate with Construction, Estimating and external contractors, create detailed drawings, and support show homes while keeping budgets on track. A post-secondary degree and 5+ years in residential construction are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Architectural Technologies, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of residential construction industry experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills and are extremely detail-oriented.
• Proven experience with project cost controls and maintaining set budgets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Anthem’s model line and production files.
• Understand local homebuilding market to expand and refine model lines.
• Assist with designing new home models from concept to working drawings.
• Create blackline drawings, floor plans, sections and pre-planned options.
• Liaise with Construction, Estimating and external contractors on designs and details.
• Collaborate across Anthem for Product Development and Specifications.
• Design Show Homes, Sales Centers and review as-built construction issues.
• Ensure compliance with Anthem Guidelines and Alberta bylaws.
• Stay current on code, bylaws and industry changes.
