Job summary

Action Furnace in Calgary is hiring Install Apprentices to learn residential HVAC installation under skilled technicians. This paid apprenticeship provides hands-on training, safety guidance, and exposure to gas furnaces, central air conditioning, and water heating systems.

You will assist with installations, ensure work is to code, walk customers through installations, keep work areas clean, and participate in the safety program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-year driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Problem solving skills.
• Communication skills.
• Customer/member service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of residential gas furnaces.
• Assist with the installation of residential central air conditioning units.
• Assist with the installation of residential water heating systems.
• Follow all processes to ensure each installation is completed properly and to code.
• Provide customers with relevant home comfort suggestions.
