Job summary

Ainsworth is seeking Refrigeration/HVAC Technicians in Calgary to assemble, install, repair and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment and systems. You will work in a multi-trade environment, supporting kitchen equipment products and mechanical systems.

The role emphasizes safe practices, adherence to quality procedures, and contributing to the training of apprentices within a dynamic, team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Alberta driver’s license required.
• Journeyman Certification preferred (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC equipment and read wiring diagrams.
• Install HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Overhaul and service HVAC/R units and systems.
• Maintain refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Mentor indentured apprentices and contribute to training.
• Adhere to Quality System procedures.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
