Job summary

Jetson in Vancouver, BC is seeking an experienced residential electrician to join our crew. You will remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with engineering to improve install processes and safety.

We require Red Seal or Journeyman licensing (or equivalent), proficiency with SMART panels and modern residential codes, and the ability to read blueprints and work precisely with power tools.

Qualifications

• Residential retrofit experience required.
• Red Seal or Journeyman license (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of SMART panels and modern residential electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina for manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical to support heat pump installs.
• Calculate electrical loads and upgrade panels as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency.
