Job summary

Oakridge Landscape Contractors in Hamilton, Ontario is actively seeking motivated Residential Construction Crew Members to help create stunning outdoor spaces. In this hands-on role, you will work on projects including excavation, stonework, and site preparation alongside experienced professionals. Ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic and be able to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or construction experience is an asset, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist projects, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
• Install natural stone, interlocking pavers, and retaining walls.
• Produce high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and digging.

What the role looks like:

This is a hands‑on role where you'll work alongside experienced professionals to build beautiful and functional landscapes for our clients.

• Build from the Ground Up: Assist projects, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
• Stonework & Hardscaping: Install natural stone, interlocking pavers, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
• Quality Craftsmanship: Take pride in producing high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.
• Stay Active: Perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, carrying materials, and working on your feet throughout the day.
• Outdoor Living: Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions while helping transform outdoor spaces.
