Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. requires a Residential Counsellor for its Transition Home Program in Belleville. This is a full-time permanent position (72 hours bi-weekly) commencing as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will provide client supervision to young adults between the ages of 16 – 24 years in a residential setting. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work midnight shifts.

Responsibilities include: client supervision, behaviour management skills, crisis management and the ability to work closely with the Transition Home team.

Qualifications: Preference will be given to an individual with a Community College Diploma in a Social Services field with a minimum of two years experience in a related field. You must possess a valid driver’s licence and be trained and certified in First Aid and CPR.
