Job summary

InterRent is seeking a reliable full-time Cleaner to join our operations team at the Crystal Beach Community in Ottawa's west end. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming living environments for residents.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms and common areas, waste disposal, occasional deep cleaning, and responding to work orders. A valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid, class G driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting).
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to high hygiene standards.
• Empty garbage and dispose of waste safely.
• Occasionally perform deep cleaning (baseboards, appliances, floors).
• Respond to cleaning work orders from the property management team.
• Occasionally assist with snow removal in winter.
• Conduct daily inspections of common areas and report maintenance issues.
• Follow safety protocols and wear assigned PPE.
