Job summary

Merry Maids Barrie is seeking cleaners to join our team for daytime, active work in residential settings. You will be trained to deliver high-quality cleaning, either solo or with a partner, to keep customers satisfied.

Duties include cleaning floors, fixtures, and surfaces, with emphasis on detail and customer service. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided; strong reliability and team spirit are valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and reliability are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs and stay active during the day.
• On-the-job training provided; experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and wash all hard surface floors.
• Clean light fixtures, baseboards, door frames, and window sills.
• Clean behind furniture and decorative items; light lifting.
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize bathrooms and kitchens.
• Dust and clean all other rooms; maintain cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service and quality control.
• Report or resolve customer issues before leaving the home.

If you like working in a team of two and being active during the day, this is a great opportunity for you. As a Merry Maids Cleaner, you will be trained to deliver a high-quality cleaning by yourself to keep customers happy. Your tasks would include:

• Vacuuming and washing all hard surface floors
• Cleaning light fixtures, baseboards, door frames and window sills
• Cleaning/dusting under and behind moveable furniture and decorative items (light lifting required)
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize bathrooms and kitchens
• Cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming all other rooms
• Providing excellent customer service and quality control
• Reporting/resolving any customer issues before leaving home
