Job summary

Merry Maids is hiring cleaners in Barrie, Ontario. You’ll work in teams of two during the day, with on‑the‑job training provided. No nights, weekends, or holidays, and a focus on delivering high‑quality cleaning to keep customers satisfied.

Tasks include vacuuming, surface cleaning, bathrooms and kitchens, and reporting issues promptly. Candidates should be reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to lift up to 40 lbs. Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and washing all hard surface floors.

Job Description

If you like working in a team of two and being active during the day, this is a great opportunity for you. As a Merry Maids Cleaner, you will be trained to deliver a high‑quality cleaning by yourself to keep customers happy. Your tasks would include:

• Vacuuming and washing all hard surface floors
• Cleaning light fixtures, baseboards, door frames and window sills
• Cleaning/dusting under and behind moveable furniture and decorative items (light lifting required)
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize bathrooms and kitchens
• Cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming all other rooms
• Providing excellent customer service and quality control
• Reporting/resolving any customer issues before leaving home
