Job summary

Merry Maids Barrie is seeking reliable cleaners to join our growing team. You will clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, bathrooms and kitchens in residential and commercial spaces while delivering excellent customer service and quality control.

Experience is not required; on-the-job training is provided. You will work in homes and small businesses, with a focus on thorough, detail-oriented cleaning and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Strong oral communication and reliability are expected.
• Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs and work independently or in a team.
• On-the-job training provided; experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and washing floors and surfaces.
• Clean light fixtures, baseboards, door frames and window sills.
• Dusting under furniture and decorative items; light lifting.
• Sanitize bathrooms and kitchens; general cleaning of rooms.
• Provide excellent customer service and quality checks.
• Report/resolve customer issues before leaving a home.

• Vacuuming and washing all hard surface floors
• Cleaning light fixtures, baseboards, door frames and window sills
• Cleaning/dusting under and behind moveable furniture and decorative items (light lifting required)
• Clean, sanitize, and deodorize bathrooms and kitchens
• Cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming all other rooms
• Providing excellent customer service and quality control
• Reporting/resolving any customer issues before leaving home
