Job summary

The Salvation Army in Calgary's Centre of Hope downtown is hiring for a full-time Resident Support Assistant who helps with packing, storage, and management of resident belongings, laundry, and light housekeeping. You will assist with daily operations, coordinate with Resident Support Team Leaders, and ensure compliance with program guidelines.

This role requires a High School diploma, a clean Police Check, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Police Information Check (PIC) with Vulnerable Sector Search Standard.
• First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Transports gear, supplies and mattresses.
• Completes and submits statistics.
• Clears the laundry room, lint traps, and disposing of garbage into the garbage bin weekly.
• Performs attendant duties in the Centre of Hope laundry room.
• Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of files.
• Attends monthly department staff meetings Reviews policies, procedures, and program guidelines.
