Job summary

Skyline Group of Companies in Guelph, Ontario, seeks an Assistant Resident Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned apartment buildings, including cleaning, light maintenance, admin tasks, and delivering great tenant service. The schedule is rotating with weekends and on-call availability.

Requirements include a high school diploma or 3 years’ cleaning experience, and computer skills (Word, Excel, email). A provided apartment with utilities and parking is included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or 3 years’ cleaning experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and email/web.
• Knowledge of provincial legislation (Residential Tenancy Act, Building/Fire Codes, OHSA) is an asset.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Regular cleaning and maintenance of common areas and surfaces.
• Assist in unit cleaning after tenant move-out to ensure rent readiness.
• Outdoor seasonal maintenance including snow shoveling and salting walkways.
• Handle administrative tasks: applications, leases, move-in/move-out inspections.
