Job summary

Golden Life Management’s Crest View Village in Creston, BC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a temporary full-time role. You will provide safe, resident-centered care, develop and evaluate care plans, and administer medications in a 12-hour shift schedule (07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00).

The position includes opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team environment. The role requires LPN licensure with BCCNM, current First Aid/CPR, and a recognized practical nursing

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
• Current full practicing licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, resident-focused nursing care in accordance with BCCNM standards.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per clinical standards and Village policy.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the RN and care team.
• Support and mentor care staff while fostering teamwork and respect.
• Document care and maintain accurate, timely records.
• Participate in safety initiatives, staff education, and quality improvement efforts.
