Job summary

Prime Residential Estate in North West London is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our prestigious team. You’ll combine hands-on maintenance with resident engagement and act as the first point of contact for residents.

Responsibilities include carrying out repairs, coordinating contractors, inspecting communal areas, and ensuring safety checks, while delivering a first-class service to residents and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, facilities or property role.
• Practical skills covering basic repairs, decorating and general building maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confidence dealing with residents, contractors and clients professionally.
• A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety within residential or commercial buildings.
• The ability to work independently while managing a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and decorating across the estate.
• Acting as the first point of contact for residents with maintenance-related queries.
• Coordinating specialist contractors and overseeing works on site.
• Completing regular inspections of communal areas and vacant properties.
• Conducting routine health & safety, fire safety and security checks.
• Managing keys and contractor access.
• Welcoming new residents and supporting move-ins where required.
• Ensuring communal areas remain clean, safe and presented to a high standard.
• Working closely with the client and wider property management team to ensure a first-class service is delivered.
