Resident Engagement Manager – Aspira Retirement Living

12 Month MAT Leave Contract

We are seeking a talented individual for the key management role of Resident Engagement Manager. This position involves leading a team to deliver exceptional service, managing budgets, and creating enriching experiences for residents and staff. The role promotes programs that foster joy and well-being among residents.

What You Will be Doing:

  • Enhancing resident well-being and community participation
  • Evaluating and improving engagement programs
  • Ensuring professional development and compliance with training
  • Leading new resident welcome programs
  • Building partnerships with local organizations
  • Documenting discussions during meetings
  • Creating community event schedules and newsletters
  • Developing programs aligned with standards
  • Managing volunteer programs and internships

Who You Are:

  • Degree or diploma in aging, wellness, or related fields (Gerontology, Kinesiology, etc.)
  • At least one year of experience developing senior programs
  • Minimum one year in management or supervision
  • Willing to obtain certification for fitness classes within 60 days
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Smart Serve/Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms
  • Additional certifications are a plus
