Qualifications

• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Gerontology, or related field required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build connections with residents and families.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and delivery of engaging recreation programs.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment encouraging resident participation.
• Support assessments and ongoing evaluation of engagement and program effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of participation records and notes.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
• Facilitate program participation and community outings, including transportation support.
• Contribute to daily program prep and delivery, supporting meal service and routines.
