Job summary

Shannex Incorporated is seeking a Client Services Assistant for the Parkland West Bedford team based in Bedford, Nova Scotia. You will assist residents with daily living tasks, participate in social activities, and support wellness initiatives in a compassionate, safe and professional environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and relevant health-care training, with flexibility for days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Home/Personal Support Worker program, Special Care Home program, Health Care Aide or Human Services program, or equivalent.
• Ability to assess and prioritize multiple work assignments while displaying professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with hygiene and daily living activities (bathing, dressing, oral care, meals, mobility).
• Supports social, spiritual, and intellectual activities for residents.
• Cleans resident rooms and common areas; checks laundry and repairs as needed.
