Overview

Beacon Heights Retirement Residence is looking for a temporary full-time Residential Care Coordinator to join our team! (Maternity Coverage)

Responsibilities

The Residential Care Coordinator is responsible to plan, direct, coordinate and supervise the overall care services program for the residents within the facility. The goal is to achieve a high standard of care, ensuring safety, and to promote quality of life for all residents in a home like environment.

Qualifications
  • Current RPN or RN
  • Possession of certificate of basic life support at basic rescuer level (minimum).
  • Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the nursing process.
  • Post-graduate study in geriatrics desirable.
  • Post-graduate study in nursing administration desirable.
  • Must be Bilingual (English and French)
  • Possession of good leadership, communication and diplomatic relations skills.
  • Must possess excellent planning skills, ability to coordinate activities and oversee a comprehensive nursing care program.
