Job summary

COGIR Immobilier is seeking an empathetic Resident Care Attendant to support residents by providing hygiene and comfort care, ensuring safety and well-being. The role is part-time with night shifts, two days a week, one weekend every two weeks, within a private seniors' home.

Responsibilities include following standards, administering medications, assisting mobility, and reporting health changes to on-call nursing staff. Training in PDSB, CPR/AED, and Law 90 are required.

Qualifications

• PDSB training completed.
• CPR/AED certification up to date.
• Law 90 training completed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to private seniors' home standards and employer policies.
• Administer medication safely in line with ethical principles.
• Answer call bells and assist residents in getting around.
• Contribute to adjustments of residents' care plans based on observations.
• Report any noticeable changes in residents’ health to the on-call nurse.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an empathetic Resident Care Attendant who is dedicated to the well-being of our residents.
The Resident Care Attendant ensures the comfort, well-being, safety, and general needs of residents by providing hygiene and comfort care. Schedule: Part-time, night shift, 2 days a week, one weekend out of two

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
• Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
• Answering call bells
• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
• Proactively assist and support the residents
• Respond to all emergency situations
• While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
