Job summary

Simpe Q Care Inc. invites applications for a Resident care aide - medical in Agassiz, BC. The successful candidate will join a permanent full-time role with shifts including day, evening, weekend, shift and morning to provide compassionate resident care.

Responsibilities include feeding, positioning, bed care, personal care, and patient transport while maintaining a safe, clean environment and reporting changes to supervisors. English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in care roles is an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and self-motivation.

• The candidate will be responsible for supplying and emptying bed pans.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate will be responsible for making beds and maintaining patient rooms.
• The candidate will be responsible for bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
• The candidate must transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.

Work setting

• The candidate will be required to work in a nursing home or a home for the elderly.

Security and safety
