Job summary

Campus Living Centres is seeking a Resident Advisor (RA) who lives in residence and acts as a role model, mentor, and resource for students. The RA will support community building, implement social/educational programs, and uphold Residence Community Living Standards. The position requires up to 16 hours per week and completion of safety trainings.

The role emphasizes student success, confidentiality, and collaboration with Residence Life staff to maintain a positive living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at the institution where the candidate will be working.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 65% throughout the duration of employment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience is an asset.
• Complete Standard First Aid & CPR Level C before term start.
• Valid Criminal Record Check prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model, mentor, and point of contact for residents.
• Plan and run social and educational programs; foster a safe, respectful environment.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; carry out administrative tasks as needed.
• Respond to resident questions, conflicts, and emergencies with confidentiality.
