Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) is seeking an Activity Assistant to support activation and socialization programs for residents at Eagle Park/Qualicum Beach. You will provide personal care assistance as required under supervision.

Under the direction of a senior position and in cooperation with the interdisciplinary team, you will help with daily activities, ensure safety, and assist with transport or mobility needs as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 and completion of an Activity Assistant Program, plus two years of related experience.
• Valid BC Class IV driver's license (unrestricted).
• Registered with the BC Care Aide registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activation and socialization programs for residents.
• Provide personal care assistance as required.
• Cooperate with interdisciplinary team under supervision.
