Job summary

You will collaborate with drilling, completions, power plant design, and exploration geology to shape development strategies. The role requires 5+ years in reservoir engineering and ideally 10+ years in geoscience related to geothermal, with a degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum or related engineering field is required.
• 5+ years of reservoir engineering experience.
• 10+ years of geoscience experience in geothermal or subsurface industries preferred.
• Advanced degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead reservoir simulations to evaluate design scenarios, completions hardware and power plant design criteria.
• Review pressure, rate, and temperature data to assess reservoir properties and well performance.
• Define minimum viable data acquisition strategies to evaluate new prospects efficiently and reduce uncertainty.
• Support resource assessment, reserve estimation, and technical diligence activities for geothermal opportunities.
• Provide input on diagnostic programs, including pressure transient tests and DFITs.
• Promote consistent diagnostic standards and interpretation methodologies across projects.
