Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking an Environmental Engineer - Geoscientist to join the expanding Environmental team in Ontario. You will oversee geo-environmental projects, manage budgets, and coordinate fieldwork, reporting, and client liaison.

Qualifications include a university degree in science or engineering and P.Eng./P.Geo. licensure. Travel across Ontario and occasional out-of-province work are expected. Flexible location across Egis offices including Hamilton, GTA and Ottawa.

Qualifications

• University degree in Science or Engineering.
• P.Eng. or P.Geo. licensure and in good standing with PEO or PGO.
• Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in ESAs, hydrogeology, and/or remediation.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Excellent English communication; French an asset.
• Willingness to travel Ontario; occasional out-of-province travel.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental support and coordinate projects across Ontario.
• Manage/coordinate geo-environmental projects (Excess Soils, Hydrogeology, ESAs, Remediations).
• Write proposals and manage project budgets.
• Oversee fieldwork, analysis, and reporting.
• Liaise with high-profile clients to meet project needs on time and on budget.
• Temporary assignment on other high-profile projects.
• Perform other duties as required.
