The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is seeking a Research Technologist to advance rare earth element processing through laboratory and pilot-scale testing at Saskatoon’s Rare Earth Processing Facility.
You will work with engineers, scientists and operations staff to operate equipment, collect data and drive process development from testing to readiness for production, supporting 24/7 operations and a collaborative team environment.

The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is seeking a Research Technologist to join our REE Commercial team. This role supports the development of rare earth element (REE) processing expertise and the execution of hydrometallurgical, solvent extraction and metals production projects at SRC's Rare Earth Processing Facility.
As a Research Technologist, you will play a key role in laboratory and pilot-scale testing, process development, commissioning and operational readiness activities. Working alongside engineers, scientists and operations personnel, you will operate process equipment, collect technical data and contribute to the advancement of critical minerals processing technologies.
The chosen candidate will also be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
This position is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and requires shift work to support 24/7 operations at SRC's Rare Earth Processing Facility.
