York University seeks a Research Grants Coordinator to support the faculty’s research mission. You will coordinate grant submissions, reporting, and post‑award activities in collaboration with faculty, administration, and external partners.

The Research Grants Coordinator supports the faculty's research mission by coordinating research grant development, funding applications, faculty recognition initiatives, and research administration activities. Working closely with faculty members, the Associate Dean, Research, and university partners, the role provides administrative and operational support throughout the research lifecycle, including grant submissions, award nominations, research reporting, scholarly publications, and special initiatives. The role helps ensure compliance with funding requirements, facilitates research-related processes and communications, and contributes to the advancement and visibility of the faculty’s research enterprise.
University degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Higher Education Administration, Communications, or other related field or an equivalent of 4 years' recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at a post-secondary institution and performing the same or similar tasks. This educational equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
Three (3) years of recent experience supporting research funding applications and research or academic administration. Experience coordinating projects. Experience preparing reports, funding applications, award nominations and communication materials.
