Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Research Coordinator (non-clinical) to coordinate research projects at the Central Zone, Halifax Infirmary. You will administer studies, care for participants, and manage documents and data throughout the study period.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and strong MS Office skills, with experience in research highly preferred. Casual relief hours may vary, including days/evenings/nights/holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Medical Terminology course preferred.
• Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) designation considered an asset.
• Previous experience in a relevant field preferred.
• Previous research experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research projects, including study/clinical trial administration.
• Care for subjects participating in the study and manage study documents and data.
• Support data collection, data entry and maintaining study records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and progress.

About the Opportunity

The Research Coordinator (non-clinical) coordinates research projects within Nova Scotia Health. This coordination includes the administration of the study/clinical trial, care for the subjects participating in the study and the management of documents and data collected throughout the study period.

About You

• Completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
