This is a regular full-time position, replacement role.

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Research Coordinator II to join our Learning Health Systems (LHS) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support healthcare transformation by bridging research, clinical practice, and continuous learning. The coordinator will work closely with the Manager, LHS and organizational partners to advance projects and support change management strategies.

Summary of Duties (but not limited to):
  • Coordinate Steering Committee activities, including meeting logistics, landscape reviews, and progress tracking.
  • Facilitate communication with external exemplar sites.
  • Support communication strategies, including content creation for newsletters and internal updates.
  • Assist with organizational change initiatives, training materials, and capacity-building activities.
  • Contribute to funding applications, KPI development, and knowledge translation outputs.
  • Design and implement PROMs across clinical areas.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to integrate PROMs into EMR systems.
  • Develop personalized feedback mechanisms to inform clinical practice and support patient-centered care.
  • Foster internal and external engagement to align institutional goals.

As a role model and champion, you will work to identify and embed safe, best practices into daily activities to ensure safe and exemplary care.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or research-focused field (Master’s degree an asset).
  • 2–4 years of experience in research coordination, healthcare quality, or health system innovation.
  • Experience with literature reviews, data analysis, and project management.
  • Familiarity with EMRs, patient-reported measures, and change management is an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; effective team collaboration.
  • Analytical skills, independence, good judgment, and initiative.
  • Understanding of research design and ethics.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to PHIPA.
  • Professional, courteous, and high-quality work ethic, meeting deadlines.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Alignment with WCH’s vision, mission, and values.
