A leading company focused on renewable fuels is seeking a Research Associate to join their Ottawa laboratory. In this permanent and full-time role, the successful candidate will conduct critical research and experiments to convert lignocellulosic materials into renewable fuels while supporting laboratory operations. Ideal candidates will have a B.Sc. in Biochemistry or relevant diploma, strong analytical skills, and a motivation to contribute to low-carbon technologies.

The Role
We have an immediate opportunity for a dedicated individual to join us as a Research Associate, reporting to the Staff Scientist.
This is a permanent, full-time laboratory-based role. You will work in our Ottawa office five days a week.
In this role, you will carry out research to convert lignocellulosic materials into renewable fuels, with the goal of increasing the cost efficiency of our processes. You will be responsible for executing bench scale experiments, data analysis and presentation of the results.
You will provide routine analytical laboratory support for research, manufacturing or customer support projects or operations.
