Position summary
Department/Research Program: Obstetrics and Gynecology/Child Health and Human Development
The sex chromosomes influence gene regulation and loss of one of them has multiple phenotypic consequences. The project is to study the impact of monosomy X on chromatin organization using mouse models and includes chromatin immunoprecipitation and sequencing (ChIP-seq).
General Duties
• Performing ChIP experiments on mouse cells/tissues,
• Conducting quantitative PCR,
• Basic lab work and maintenance,
• Working with literature, analysis of published data, bioinformatics databases,
• Contributing to manuscript writing, presentation and dissemination of project’s work.
