ERIS has been providing critical risk and historical information on properties in Canada since 1999. In late 2013, ERIS launched in the United States, as the first and only company to provide environmental risk information for both countries. ERIS delivers accurate, comprehensive, and innovative on-demand database research services quickly and with a service-first attitude.
ERIS has an immediate opportunity for a detail-orientated historical research analyst with the ability to effectively manage time and resources. Successful candidates will be trained on acquiring, verifying, and georeferencing historical aerial photography.
This is a full-time hybrid position, requiring 35 hours a week, with the office located in Toronto.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Research and produce Aerial Reports and maintain quality, accuracy, and efficient standards.
Georeferencing acquired digital imagery within a web-based application.
Generate custom reports utilizing client specific search criteria.
Coordinate with management to provide real-time updates on workflow.
Proactively manage a docket of client orders to maintain consistent productivity and balance of turn-around time (TAT).
Maintain accurate notes and documents to improve research process.
Time management through proper and consistent steps to generate reports.
Work independently with minimal supervision by management.

Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Preferred education is Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (in Library Sciences, Geographer, Genealogist, Historian, or Journalism).
Experience and knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office (Word, Excel).
Proficient in technology like Bluetooth, WiFi, and other communication protocols.
Computer skills are a must and GIS, Aerial or Project Management is a bonus.
Prior work experience in a research setting.
Strong map reading skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills are vital.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
The ability to perform multiple tasks and maintain time management in a high-volume production environment.
