Job summary

Alstom in St Bruno, Canada, is seeking a Requirements Management Intern to apply analytical and data visualization expertise in a cutting-edge field. You will work with data analysts, project managers and engineering teams to translate stakeholder needs into KPI dashboards and enhance Power BI templates for usability and insights.

You will gather requirements, develop dashboards, and contribute to project performance reporting while collaborating with RM Coordinators and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A good listener who can interpret inputs and feedback from RMEs while building dashboards.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in UI design or data visualization best practices (nice to have).
• Bilingualism: Proficiency in French and English required; third language is an asset in international contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards to drive insight and usability.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics for Requirements Management activities.
• Identify gaps, lead corrective actions, and track progress toward targets.
• Present data-driven insights and performance reports to management.
• Consolidate Return on Experience (ReX) into a centralized knowledge hub.
• Collaborate with Requirements Management Coordinators to ensure timely follow-up on project activities.
• Analyze project risks and performance gaps, proposing practical data-backed solutions.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical and data visualization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You're play a key role in shaping the foundation of engineering excellence by defining and managing requirements that determine the success of projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (data analysts, project managers, and engineering teams), create actionable insights from data, and design impactful dashboards – and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of gathering and translating stakeholder needs into clear, actionable KPI dashboards, but also enhance Power BI templates for improved usability and insights.

We’ll look to you for:

• Designing and developing Power BI dashboards to drive insight and usability
• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics for Requirements Management activities
