Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, business administration, or related field.
  • Significant experience in mining or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all Raglan Mine departments to improve risk management across HSE, financial, and legal aspects.
  • Maintain the risk register and identify critical controls with verification plans.
  • Analyze trends and issue recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements and support external audits.
  • Train sectors and provide direct support to managers in decision-making.

How You Contribute To Our World
  • Working closely with all departments at Mine Raglan to improve the organization’s risk management, particularly in relation to health and safety, the environment, the achievement of financial objectives, reputational and legal issues, etc.
  • Maintain the risk register, identify critical controls, and propose verification activities to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Analyze trends impacting risk management and issue recommendations.
  • Participate in ensuring compliance with corporate requirements and in implementing new processes.Plan and support the sectors during external audits.
  • Train the sectors and provide direct support to managers in their decision-making process.
Profile Required
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, business administration or any other relevant field.
  • Possess significant experience in a mining and / or industrial environment.
  • Any experience in workplace health and safety, environmental risk management systems (ISO 14001), or other management systems will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of English is an asset.
