Glencore Raglan Mine in Quebec is seeking a Mill Operator – Class III for a permanent, unionized position with a 14/14 rotation and 11-hour shifts. You will operate and monitor automated concentrator equipment across grinding, flotation, and dehydration, ensuring quality and safety while reporting to the Operations Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree as required with five years processing plant experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in mining processing plants is preferred.

HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the Operations Supervisors and working in a safe, unique, and motivating environment, you will operate highly complex and automated equipment. Your primary duties will be:

• Operating and monitoring all equipment in the following industry sectors: grinding and crushing, flotation, dehydration (filters, thickeners and drying) as well as preparing reagents, including the water treatment station.
• Ensure that the concentrator's quality and quantity objectives are met.
• Make operational decisions and take action quickly.
• To place importance and commitment to health and safety according to Raglan Mine standards.
• Analyze data and situations to identify the best strategies to adopt.

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in Machine Operations, Mineral and Metal Processing or High school diploma, associate with five (5) years of processing plant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
