Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly customer service technician in Montreal to assist clients with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the Centre. You will use U-Scan tech to handle rentals and inventory, move and hook trucks, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. On-site work with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul Center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.

• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.

Responsabilités des techniciens pour le service à la clientèle :

• - Aider les clients tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur du Centre U-Haul avec les produits et services U-Haul

Exigences physiques:

Ce travail requiert des actions comportant de l’effort physique comme rester sur place autant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur pendant de longues périodes de temps, parcourir des espaces ainsi que se repositionner pour atteindre et utiliser des outils. Il faut aussi pouvoir déplacer de l’équipement pesant un minimum de 23kg (50lb) avec ou sans aide.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around an office and occasionally outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
