Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co. is looking for a motivated sales professional to engage architects, designers and specification professionals and grow market share in a defined eastern Canada territory.

You will manage project specifications and connect planning to completion, driving paint sales and brand education. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in architecture/design contexts, strong communication skills, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Two to five years of experience directly with the architectural and design communities.
• Thorough understanding of specification and finish schedule writing.
• Working knowledge of required software programs (Microsoft Office, CRM).
• Excellent communication, listening and public speaking skills.
• Effective time management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage architects, designers and specifying professionals to grow market share and strengthen Benjamin Moore's leadership in a defined territory.
• Manage project specifications and link planning stages to successful completion, resulting in paint sales.
• Provide expertise, education and brand awareness to key purchase influencer segments including independent retailers, architects, designers and color consultants.
• Serve English- and French-speaking customers in Eastern Canada.
• Possess flexibility to work in evenings and weekends when required.
