Job summary

JF Automation Inc. is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and testing of industrial motors, transformers, coils, and related equipment. The role requires hands-on skills in machining, balancing, and on-site servicing at our Mississauga location.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, hold a College/CEGEP credential (or equivalent), and possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities to support our maintenance and service operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
College/CEGEP or equivalent experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment.
Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts.
Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components.
Wind, assemble and install various types of coils.
Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators or other parts.
Perform on-site servicing and repair.
Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
