Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair rental wellhead and frac equipment and to support daily field operations.

You will coordinate shipping, maintain documentation, assist with work orders and safety paperwork, and provide after-hours support. The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced oilfield environment. Stream-Flo offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; oilfield experience preferred.
  • Field experience would be an asset.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, customer service, and problem solving skills.
  • Well organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Repair rental wellhead and frac components and other rental equipment.
  • Coordinate and maintain shipping documentation and product returns within the rental line.
  • Report problems and required repairs to maintain production; suggest improvements to area efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Aftermarket Services Quality Control for items to be farmed out.
  • Assist in creating work orders and safety documents.
  • Assist with painting and building wellhead assemblies as needed.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of equipment and goods as needed.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call availability when required.
  • Open and close responsibilities for the facility as required.
  • Ensure facility cleanliness for internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Stream‑Flo Group Guiding Principles in Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

  • Responsible for all equipment and tools in assigned area; report any problems and repairs required to maintain production, including any recommendations and/or requirements to improve efficiency in the area.
  • Coordinate with Aftermarket Services (AMS) Quality Control for any items required to be farmed out.
